Who am I

Tuulikki Trias

I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, specialized in children and adolescents. On a psychotherapeutic level, I work with children and adolescents as well as with adults and families. I am also specialized in treating patients with personality disorders, anxiety and depression.

I have a special interest in perinatal psychology, early childhood (0-3 years) and in the psychotherapeutic work of the first bond of the mother/father and the baby.

I am specialized in twin psychology. Since 2000 I form part of the twin research group at the University of Oulu, Finland. I collaborate and do consultations with the Finnish twins and multiples association.

  • Psychiatrist, specialized in children and adolescents University of Oulu, Finland). Title validated in Spain.
  • GP, Family Doctor (University of Oulu, Finland).
  • Doctorate in Medicine (University of Oulu, Finland).
  • Master of Psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults (University of Barcelona).
  • Psychoanalyst of the Institute of Psychoanalysis of Barcelona.
  • Formación en Training in Psychotherapy focused on perinatal parenting and early childhood (PCP)
  • Training in Family Therapy (University of Oulu, Finland).
  • Therapist and supervisor accredited in Treatment Based on Mentalization of Families (MBT-F, Anna Freud Centre, London).
  • Accredited therapist and supervisor in Transfer-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP-A, U. Cornell, NY).
  • Work experience in the Catalonia public mental health network. Head of service of the Mental Health Care Centre for Children and Adolescents (CSMIJ del Prat, 2009-2014) and Head of service of the Day Hospital for Adolescents, Miralta and Collblanc, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Orienta Foundation (2014-2021).
